Mike Lee Quintet Featuring Julian Lee

The Statuary is presenting back-to-back content this summer and we are proud to present one of the most celebrated tenor saxophonists on the NYC scene today, Mike Lee. Featured in his band will be his prodigious son, Julian Lee, one of the brightest rising stars of today having performed with Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride, Jon Batiste and The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra. Rounding out the rhythm section is the infinitely creative Brandon McCune on Piano, and the young and spirited bass and drum combination of Gervis Myles and Matt Lee. Get ready for a high energy and swinging night of music you won’t soon forget.
